Good morning guys,
I found a complete sony head unit and 10 disc changer in a Jag at the pull it (had tinted windows and guess no body looked into it) and sent away for the install 'kit' from Best buy.
OK, now that I have it, do I have to cut out the panel that holds the knobs and old dial (its' stock.. )
and what's the best easiest way to take the old radio out?
This is in my 86 with 43K on it, but going to my son in a few years and don't want it to be a crappy job..
I got all the wires and everything!!

Thanks
E

Pull the bezel and the radio will be bolted to a bracket held in with 4 screws. remove the radio and modify the hole to fit - the dash is not very deep,so check the depth of the dash and radio before you start cutting the dash. Once you are sure it will fit, then cut the bezel. If you have a problem with the bezel, I have extras.

WOW, thats quick. Thanks again for responding.
I'll get in there and start a diggin. It's your standard Sony head unit but forgot if it's a "double din" or what.
Maybe I'll post some pics.
I just don't want to buggar it up for the youngin. Don't want HIM to either for that matter. He shouldn't have to upgrade for a while.

Thanks again Errol
