so someone said I should get a silent shaft delete kit(balance shaft) or a short block for my 84 power ram dodge d50 4x4 with the 2.6l 5spd manual 4x4 trucl. i had an incident where i threw my timing chain around in my timing case becase "a bolt back out in the timing chain, silent shaft gear" but someone said that that just doesn't back out. maybe i didn't torque it right? but i'm scared to just put it back in. what should i do? is all that stuff worth it? costly? trusting?
