hey guys
i got a tach cluster from ebay and i put it in my truck on yesterday. all the gauges work but speedo is messed up. when i am driving it it the needle jumps around between the different speeds and makes a grinding noise. i looked at the cable and it seems fine so i think its the gauge. what i was thinking i would do is swap the speedo from my stock gauge to this one and see if that fixes it. does anyone know if this will work?
thanks

How was your old clusters speedo? I know the local honda guys could swap out the speedo so they could get the tach cluster and keep their odometer readings. I never tried on the truck cause I didnt find the need to. Dont wanna dispute with ebay for defective parts?

Sounds like you don't have the speedo cable pushed all the way in correctly, that's what happened to me a few times.
