Is it just a plug n play or do i need brackets of some sort. For any of you who have done this, how did u do it? I haven't done shit to my truck lately n i really want to do this any help is appreciated

Your gonna need brackets! I was a little stumped cause I didn't have a welder at the house when I picked up my first 4runner bumper. Then I lucked out (sort of) and found a MM with one installed at the junkyard. It had some brackets installed. However the installer welded the brackets to the bumper. And he modified them with jackass welding. I hope to take it off one day an clean them up.

I'd check around the net man. I think FBI or someone makes these brackets. Cause the brackets were professionally cut, I just don't know why this dude modified them.

im pretty sure that the fbi conversion brackets still need to be modified to fit right

If I remeber correctly that was fbi's excuse for pulling them off the shelves, cuz they didn't fit for chit :mrgreen:

just following up to see if you did this. Ive been searching the boneyards for a bumper but nothing good enough. I might just buy a new one.
