the transfer case

this is the first time i've rebuilt the transmission on my truck. i was wondering if there is a way to duel stick the transfer case so i can lock out the rear-end? i do a lot of four wheeling and being able to dis-engage the rear-end is a really handy thing in some situations. if anyone has a thought, i'd like to hear it.

No i'm afraid not because everything runs through a single cluster gear.

The short answer is "no", but not all hope is lost. With a little time and alot of money you can covert to an FM145 and and Atlas II transmission or you can buy another t-case and make a doubler. Both of these options require solid fabrication skills and mods to the driveshafts, crossmembers and the body. Here is a picture of my FM145 Tranny and Atlas T-case. This will allow me to lockout the rear and do front digs.
