Remember to only fit the two msd wires to the coil, I made the mistake of leaving the weber electric choke fitted to the + side of the coil and it wouldn't start.

i was wondering what the extra wire on the coil was, should i hook it up to the tach signal off of the box? is it required by the carb to kill the choke?

I had two extra wires because of the weber, the second extra wire looks like a noise suppressor to me, I left it off and its running like a dream.

i was thinking the low side of the ballist resistor, i know alot of e-chokes are not supposed to get constent battery voltage. it will burn them up.

Don't use any power from either side of the coil for the choke, it will draw too much power from the ignition and cause the limiter in the factory tach to trip prematurely and shut off power until it drops below the "limit". Learned this the hard way. Your MSD will not affect the system.
