Since Im bored, I might as well start one.

I first got the truck for like $150 cause the original owner thought the trans and engine were blown. The truck had a brake master cylinder leak, a mild coolant leak witch caused hesitation in witch caused the last owner to believe there was a problem with the motor and trans in the first place, and a bad pitman arm.

Since I had it running, it actually ran like a champ, but idled like crap. The cams that were in it were webcam 546/547 grind and these cams are a little too aggressive at idle and cant be fixed without a way to raise the set idle with a stand alone or dsm link. Also the engine had a slight oil leak and I oil starved the engine. Well, I ordered a shortblock from maperformance and have yet to recieve it. Ordered it on the 8th of last month and still waiting. The Parts list would include mahle pistons, eagle rods, balance shaft elimination kit, new crank, new front case and oil pump. Parts added which I got are arp headstuds, oem cams and cam gears, and jay racing alternator relocation kit. Parts I already installed are apexi avcr boost controller, walbro 255 fuel pump inline, aem afpr, pacesetter manifold, and a fal radiator fan from a honda civic. Added useless accessories are nrg wheel, quick release, sportcomp 5 inch tach with shift light, boost gauge. Clutch system is a dsm fwd flywheel with a pilot bearing installed by a machineshop, a sachs starion oem disc, and a dsm pressure plate. Tried centerforce but they failed twice sending me the wrong size disc so just used an oem application. Will add more to this when the short block comes in and I can send the head to the machine shop.
