MPI Raider build

Backstory:
Traded my red 88 Montero for another Conquest. Had the "Street Raider" body that I was going to build for my little brother. He got a hand-me-down 85 Chevy that was super clean with low miles and graciously denied the gift of the "Street Raider".

Now, I've got a Magna intake that won't fit a Starquest, a turbo engine sitting in the shop floor, MSII sitting on my desk, EDIS stored in a box, and a depurposed 87 Raider. I'm buried knee deep in an outage at work and have a friend needing a Fiji Quest roller so a deal was struck for the install, much thanks to Couth.

Here we go.

Engine cleaned painted and ready to install. Note the distributor block off, edis front pulley, and sensor/bracket.

Montero pan fitted to starion block. Starion dipstick tube welded in.

I had the intake welded up and the hole machined out to match the US spec outlet.

Where did you get your Magna intake? I'm collecting the parts for the MSII conversion now, how did you attach the EDIS ring to the pulley? Nice job on all your work!

Got all the EDIS bits here:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/MK1-CRAN ... 2642wt_939

Magna came from a friend in Australia, otherwise check Starquestclub.com

Thanks, I'll have more to add soon. Been really busy at work with the cold weather and all.
