Can someone give me a good explanation of dirvorced tcases and trannies? I know its possible with enough money; but if no divorced t-case mates up to a tranny... how hard/expensive is it to get it to mate?

well what are you looking to find one for?? i mean what side is your pumpkin on in the front?? for chevy and dodge all had divorced setups as well as international did early chevy(up to 88 or any 1ton up to that i believe), dodge(with the t18, t19 or np435 & 727) and all international(travelall's with 727, t-18 or t19 that were 3/4 or 1 ton)those are all passerger side. side ford was on the driver side(np435, t-18, t19, c6 and i believe early truck aod's were divorced i believe) and why do you want the divorced setup?? sometimes its more or a pain than its worth other times makes sense

i like a divorced t-case in a truck thats got alot of lift, you can drop it down and reduce driveshaft angle. i plan on putting one in my 4x4 later down the road

i dont ever like driopping anything that has to do with the tranny or tcase if i dont have to my scout has 3ft of center frame clearence and thats cuz i kept the engine tranny and tcase up high where thay should be and twisted my pinion up(not with shims i moved the springpads cuz its a spring over now) on the front and back, the front not as much ofc because if the steering but didnt need to as much because have an auto in it and so my front shaft is longer that used to be when i had the stick in it.

you lift a truck high enough to put 44's on it and you gotta do more than adjust some pinion angles
