Little "switch" on cluster??

Hey guys, I've been gone for a while and it came back to me that there was a little switch on the back, bottom corner of the cluster.
What the heck is it for?

Check EGR light as I remember. On the ol Carby motors

the EGR light comes on every 50,000 miles
that is the reset switch
if your light comes on just flip it to the other side
