offset wheels

i wanna be able to drop, but my wheels and tires stick out just by the slightest bit past my fenders....will offset wheels be more flat faced than american racing wheels and stay inside my fenders?

Alright I'm no pro but from what I have figured out that if you just want to lay frame I think the caddy offset of 31% will work but if your going to body drop it your goin to need to tuck a little more so go up in %(offset) to 38% or 40% on a 20 x 8.5

your going to want atleast a +45 on an 8.5" wide wheel if not more.
