A lot of confusion goes on with these motors. Lol. Oh well, Im happy with my 4g63, still got my g63b, that'll be rebuilt for fuel injected turbo soon.
OP, does the engine leak oil outside as well as inside the block? You say oil leak then oil fouled spark plugs.

ya it leaks out of the front main seal, the oil pan, out of the back of the head and my cam seal leak a little also.i also have low compression in my #3 cylinder. i go through about a quart of oil every 800 miles. the truck runs fine as long as i put oil in it and change the plugs out and i only use it to get to school work and the beach. i am not rebuilding it right away i just want to get some info on it before i do.

I don't know about a full rebuild kit but maybe you can try napa or something. Some parts I'd rather go to the dealership for though. Sounds like someone may have used a bottle or so of oil stop leak since it's that bad but that's just opinion. I can be wrong that's why. Do you have any background rebuilding engines yourself? You looking to rebuild yourself? Looking for performance gains or looking to just get back on the road at oem performance? Machine shops are costly and you won't know personally if some things are changed, all you can do is look at the reciept and take their word for it. To each his own.
