'93 MM owner here from Philly area!

Hey guys.

I picked up my '93 mighty max in November after looking around for an S10 for quite a while. Came across the MM and had to buy it. I've been a huge import guy, owning a KA-T 240sx, an MR2 turbo, and currently own a '03.5 Mazdaspeed Protege that is pretty worked. My plans for the truck are pretty simple...paint, drop, and wheels to make a well rounded daily driver, but who knows; i'll probably end up building a 4g63 and throwing it in there at some point ;)

Anyway,

I bought the truck looking like this....(Pictures taken from the previous owner's front yard!):

It's hard to tell in the pictures above but the truck had quite a bit of surface rust in the bed and the big dent at the bottom of the wheel well was a killer for me. The paint was terrible, the clear coat was completely pealed off in the front of the truck!

Not long after I purchased the truck, I got to work. Used a 5" orbital sander to tackle the surface rust and bring the bed back to life. Here are some pictures from the in-construction phase:

After I finished the body work, I sent it off to paint and the truck got shot in a gloss black:

The last three shots represent what the truck looks like currently.

I have 2" drop spindles that I'm planning on installing this weekend. The truck is already on 3" blocks in the rear, courtesy of the previous owner but I am looking to static drop this truck as low as i possibly can.

Just for good measure, here is the scheme of what i'd like the truck to look like when i'm done! (i realize i can't get the truck this low on a static drop, haha):

Anyway, thanks for listening! Glad to join up in a new community.
