Theres actually a guy over there doing the 6g72 TT swap in a montero right now, hes having to flip manis and do some weird stuff but seems to be coming along nicely.

Biggest problem is that theres not very many strictly 2wd rwd trannys that will work w/ the 6g72, the Montero Sport is the only one that you can find w/ a 2wd 6g tranny. Before Warme got booted he told me he saw a 6g72 MM w/ a v5mt1 2wd wich I kinda doubt he saw it but he may have hard telling.

Good luck with your venture, I think Im about the only one here w/ a 6g72, I also have a 6g74 DOHC in my Montero they seem to be damned good motors. I get the chance I'm gonna swap a 6g74 DOHC into my 91 w/ the 12v 6g72.
