I replaced my carburator on my 89 ram 50 2.0 last year. For some reason I cant get the choke to work right on it. As long as I start it and do not hit the gas she is fine. But if I hit the gas before 4 mins then she will idle pretty high. Need to know how to adjust it. Also is easy to do a valve job on the truck???? Only have 78,000 Miles on it bought it with 56,000 miles on it last year.

It is not possible to do a valve job "on the truck" because the valves face the cylinders. So the head would have to come off to remove them. NOW with that said. IF you wanted to change out the springs and retainers 'on the truck' it is a pain in the ass BUT possible. If your changing out the valves and lapping them prior to install you'd have to remove the head. I have no clue how to help you with the carb problem!
