hey im Brandon, from Idaho looking to get a 92' mighty max 4x4 soon! thought i would join cuz i have wanted one for a couple of years now.

Welcome to the board. Glad you found us and hope you find everything your looking for. These trucks are great cause of the interchangability between the trucks like motor swaps to easy conversions.

yea i love these trucks, ive actually got two twin turbo 3000gt's and was looking into a swap with the v6 model, since they have a similar engine. looks like quite the job, but i dont think it would be too bad!

ill be down to do it, i got a spare motor layin around. all i need is the truck, so if anyone knows of one in the coerdalene idaho area let me know

The tranny would be the tricky part, I would recommend going with the Aisan built automatic.
Also what part of Idaho?

update* might be picking up an 88' 4x4 ex cab $500, what do you guys think about the 88' 4x4?

hey if i do get this 88 mighty max 4x4 does anyone know if this has the right set-up drive train wise for the 4g63t swap, cuz i think i wanna do that instead, it would be cheaper. and if anyone could post some link's with detailed info on the swap it would be great. already found a few threads on it.
