Hey from SC!

Postby SCguy » Thu Mar 04, 2010 8:50 pm

Hey yall! New guy here from SC. My name is Ryan and I'm 19 and a mechanic. I was recently gifted an 89 Mighty Max 2.0 by an older gentleman I know. This is my 6th vehicle, but my first truck..
List: 79 Mercury Capri (sold), 95 Dodge Intrepid (still in the family), 89 Jeep Wagoneer (sold), 01 Olds Alero 2dr (sold, total POS, rod knock at 70k miles), 02 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4.7l HO V8 (still have, my personal 'sports car', its fairly fast for a Jeep, 270 hp, 330 lb-ft of torque, K&N intake, Borla exhaust), and now this 89 Mighty Max. Since I already have a vehicle with power, the Max will be for fun, and to save on gas.

Details on the truck: 1989 Mits. Mighty Max, 2.0, AT, AC, 59k original miles, one owner (I am the second), was given non-running. Had been sitting for a few years, so put plugs and wires on and it fired right up. Also needed a battery. Has good tires on it. Also added a set of Hella 500's I had in the closet.

So here is my truck that runs good, with under $100 in it...

Found some rims at the shop yesterday. They are 14x7 Pacer 330C 's with center caps off a Nissan Hardbody. Called the owner, asked how much, and he only wants $10 a rim. So, going to test fit them today, but will most likely buy them.
