I do have a manual. I have a repair manual from a dealership that didnt want it anymore and I got an engine manual that I downloaded. Any tips or shortcuts/advice you can give me would be great though! I was a heavy duty truck mechanic about 8 years ago but dont have any experiance in these engines. Plus, its been 8 years since I turned wrenches...

so you're thinkin that I can leave the belt off and it wont hurt anything then? or do I I need to get the crank internally balenced? I spun them and they werent locked up or anything but the tensioner pulley is missing so I'm guessin thats why the last guy left it off. either way, I'm gonna tear down the engine so I'll see what the deal is anyway.
