ALTERNATOR UPGRADE!!!

Ok, I've been doing research and I found a post on D50 that stated that you can use an alternator from a 1990 Mitsu Van. And it's a direct swap.
So being the type of person that needs this sort of thing... I ordered one! And I must say "IT'S PERFECT!!!" I had to press the bottom spacer out a smidge with a vise.
 BUT IT WAS A DIRECT 75 AMP SWAP!
No more problems with running the A/C, headlights, stereo, electric fan, ect. Voltage stays constant now!

Mine is a 2.4L 4g64 (2nd Gen)

Not sure if this swap will work on the 2.0L or 2.6L vehicles, nor do I know if it will work on the 1st Gen's

 BUT I CAN CONFIRM IT DOES WORK FOR A 2.4 Second Gen!

Do you mean the plug that goes into the back of the alternator? I have an old 85 Dodge 1 ton van with a 100 amp alt. also. Why such a big alt. on the Conquest? You got a trunk full of 12'' subs and a mega watt amp? :happy-partydance: :happy-bouncyblue: :happy-bouncycyan: :happy-bouncygreen: :happy-bouncymagenta: :happy-bouncymulticolor: :happy-bouncyred: :happy-bouncyredfire:Damn it, I love all the smileys!

So what was the pricetag on it Rusty? (kind of feel like a cheap ass for asking but I'm curious)

$121 without core charge and tax, and what not. Which isn't bad considering a stock 45amp MM alternator costs $98 at the same store. So I consider it a $30 upgrade well spent!

I asked about this in another thread. I'm glad I found this one. So, do you have a part number? How do I go about asking for this? Do I just say, "Hey guy, give me an Alternator for 1990 Mitsubishi Van."
