i have been getting like 17 -18 mpg in my 2.0 whats the deal i just did the timing belt, new carb, everything what could this be??????

its startin to hurt my wallet i got this truck for mpgs not mileage like a v8

I would kill for 18mpg. I average about 8-10 with a crappy old stock carb and worn out 200k motor.

I have a 2.0 with 97K miles on it Factory carb that has a crappy idle to it and I average 24 to 26 mpg
