Ok so I have been looking for a 1st gen D50/MM for a while. Finally I have found one. Its an 86 D50, made in june 86 so I'm guessing its probably one of the last made. It has no engine though or transmission. The body is in excellent shape though, no rust other than the bottom of the fenders. It has the chrome wheels and a chrome grill. The interior, well its there lets just leave it at that. He wants 250 for it. Seems fair to me. Am I getting a good deal?

250 for a shell? Well I would jump on it if I had a motor and trans to drop in it but that's me. Things about me buying cars like that are rust, rolling chassis, condition of frame and body. Since you got that covered, decisions yours man.

Thanks. I was just wanting to make sure that seemed about right. Seemed fair to me. I dont got an engine and trans for it yet so it will sit up for a while this is just the first one I have found so far so I'm gonna hop on it.

I picked up an 86 Ram 50 2wd custom 2.0 5 spd with air, but not running - clean body with very little rust bottom of one fender and inside of 1 rocker and 75k original miles for 350. 250 is good for that - my interior is there too but I am replacing it all anyways.

I'd jump on it then find a good 2.6 to drop in it or even a Chevy Small Block.
