I finally got around to getting a new harness for my motor. Started cutting it up. Gonna rip out old harness and install new one hopefully tomorrow.

I'll fix the thread. A day late tho since I didn't do anything today.

Yesterday I installed the intermittent wiper setup I bought from Rusty. Install process went something like this.

1) look at job and think "this aughta be easy"
2) remove horn button
3) remove 17mm retaining nut for steering wheel.
4) wiggle, wiggle, plull, pull, hit, smash myself in the face with the steering wheel.
5) throw steering wheel, check for blood
6) remove plastics from steering column
7) notice that the reason my ignition is out of place looking is the fact that it is actually out of place, both bolts backed them selves out about 1/4 of the way
8) remove old wiper arm assembly
9) remove ignition
10) use my dremel to make slots in the ignition bolts so I can tighten them back up with a screw driver
11) reinstall ignition and new wiper arm setup
12) test
13) fail test, cry (not seriously)
14) remove arms, disassemble
15) clean contacts
16) lose ball bearing that keeps arm in place
17) repeat
18) go inside and pee
19) reassemble steering column
20) test and rejoice
21) screw everything back together
22) test horn
23) go back inside and play Borderlands

One of my favorite mods for the MM by far so far. So much better than having to tap the wiper arm every 5-10 seconds, and cheaper than picking up a mexican @ home depot to flip the switch for me :)
